Hello! I’m Caren Ní Dhroma and I am a dedicated Special Class Teacher in St. John’s Special School here in Dungarvan, with a passion for creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment for autistic children where every child can thrive. 

I am also an Assistant Psychologist with Waves Wellbeing Psychological Services that offer neuroaffirmative supports to neurodivergentchildren and young people.

I was initially inspired by the trojan efforts of Autism Support Dungarvan and quickly became a volunteer to help at their organised events whenever I could. 

This paved the way for becoming a member of the steering crew for the Autism Friendly Town initiative. This allows me the opportunity to actively contribute to autism community by advancing local awareness, accessibility by promoting practical change, and genuine inclusion for autistic people.
