Volunteering with Autism Friendly Dungarvan is a meaningful way to support your community while making a real difference in people’s lives.

When you volunteer with us, you’re helping make Dungarvan a more inclusive, understanding place for autistic individuals and their families. Whether you’re helping at an event, supporting behind the scenes, or simply showing up to lend a hand, it all matters.

You’ll learn a lot too. Volunteering gives you the chance to better understand autism, meet new people, and be part of a team working toward something positive.

It’s also a great way to build new skills, from communication and teamwork to event coordination and public engagement. But most of all, you’ll know that your time and effort is making life better for others, and that’s something to be proud of.

If you’d like to get involved or just learn more, email autismfriendlydungarvan@gmail.com or speak to a member of the committee. We’d love to hear from you.

All our volunteers need to undergo safeguarding training by completing an "Introduction to Children's First" Program which is based on the protection & welfare of children.
