What a proud moment for our group!
We are absolutely thrilled and honoured to have been named WINNERS of the Inclusive Communities Award at the Waterford PPN Community & Voluntary Awards 2026!
With over 820 community groups and organisations across Waterford PPN and over 5,000 volunteers this year saw 110 award applications which is just incredible!😮
To receive this recognition amongst so many incredible voluntary organisations is a huge honour!

🫶The Waterford PPN Awards are always one of the most inspiring nights of the year, celebrating the incredible people and voluntary organisations who give so much of their time to make a difference in our communities.

"Autism Friendly Dungarvan are opening doors for autistic people in sports, community activities and everyday life, but most importantly, showing that being different is absolutely OK!"
This initiative is about breaking down barriers, creating opportunities, encouraging understanding and ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to participate and feel a sense of belonging in their own community.
