New Champion - Dungarvan Camogie / GAA / LGFA

🏆 Introducing Our Newest Autism Friendly Champion! 🏆

We are delighted to recognise
Dungarvan Camogie / GAA / LGFA Club as our newest Autism Friendly Champion

Not only are they our 2nd Autism Friendly Sports Club in Dungarvan, but they are also our 1st GAA club to be officially recognised as Autism Friendly.

To achieve Champion status they:
✅ Attended in-person Autism Friendly Champion training
✅ Attended online Autism Friendly training opportunities for their wider team
✅ Created visual guides to support autistic individuals and families
✅ Installing a communication board to promote inclusive communication
✅ Introduced a Quiet Hour at their Family Fun Day in partnership with Autism Friendly Dungarvan.

Their commitment to creating a welcoming, understanding and inclusive environment ensures that more autistic children, adults, families and the wider disability community can participate in club and community life.
