Dungarvan GAA, Camogie & LGFA Family Fun Day

On Sunday 21st June 2026 Dungarvan GAA / Camogie / LGFA Club hosted a Family Fun Day!

All were welcome to attend and join in on the fun 😁

There was a quiet hour from 11am-12pm.

We were delighted to see you all on Sunday 21st June at the Dungarvan GAA Grounds 💙

Our 1st GAA club to be officially recognised as Autism Friendly.

To achieve Champion status they:
✅ Attended in-person Autism Friendly Champion training
✅ Attended online Autism Friendly training opportunities for their wider team
✅ Created visual guides to support autistic individuals and families
✅ Installing a communication board to promote inclusive communication
✅ Introduced a Quiet Hour at their Family Fun Day in partnership with Autism Friendly Dungarvan.

Their commitment to creating a welcoming, understanding and inclusive environment ensures that more autistic children, adults, families and the wider disability community can participate in club and community life.
