Family Farm Bus

Autism Support Dungarvan members together with Autism Friendly Dungarvan embarked on a wonderful family day out filled with fresh air, laughter, connection and community in May 2026.

🫶A huge thank you to the Local Link for kindly sponsoring the bus and to our friends at Waterford Festival of Food for helping organise such a lovely trip for our families. Thanks to our fab bus driver Dan, a calm cool presence 😎

🐄Our day started at Ballyconnery Bo with delicious milk & goodies, and of course we were greeted by the very handsome Seamus the dog.

🐓We then travelled to Comeragh Mountain Farm where families explored the outdoors, fed the animals and enjoyed time together in nature. Parents had the opportunity to catch up and connect while the children loved seeing familiar faces again and were so excited to return for their second farm tour visit

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦Days like these are so important, creating safe, welcoming opportunities for families to relax, socialise and simply enjoy being together.
