Halloween 2025 – A Magical, Inclusive Day for All 🎃

We had an absolutely beautiful afternoon last week at our Halloween Event 2025 — a celebration full of colour, creativity, and connection.

The event brought together families, friends, and volunteers in a warm, welcoming space designed with inclusion in mind. A big thank you to our Social Media Rep, Stacey, for capturing some of the magic in this enchanting highlights video, which you’ll find below.

Caoimhe from Sense_sational Kids kept all the little hands busy with a range of thoughtfully designed sensory stations. From textures to colours and calm activities, it was a gentle and grounding space where kids could freely explore and create.

Laura, our wonderful face painter from Firefly Parties & Events, added so much more than face paint to the day. Her joyful energy, playful spirit, and musical moments really lit up the room. One of the highlights was when a curious child got to paint her face — such a simple but powerful moment of shared joy.

Autism Friendly Dungarvan were proud to provide a fully relaxed area equipped with sensory supports, communication boards, fidget tools, weighted items, and AsIAm Halloween activity packs. The space was used beautifully throughout the event by those who needed a quiet moment or just preferred to observe before joining in.

We’re so grateful to Kate O’Mahoney and the National Lottery Fund for supporting this event, and to all the volunteers, families, and group members whose presence and energy made the day what it was.
