We were delighted for Autism Friendly Dungarvan to work together with Dungarvan Agricultural Show Ltd to make this year's show even more welcoming, accessible and inclusive for everyone.

🏆Last year, the Dungarvan Agricultural Show Committee proudly completed our Autism Friendly Champion Training, demonstrating their commitment to creating a more understanding and inclusive event.
Since then, we have been working closely together to introduce a range of autism-friendly supports that will help make the day more enjoyable for everyone attending.

This year's supports included:
⛺️ A Sensory Gazebo for anyone needing a quiet break
🦮 A dedicated Service Dog Area
🧘 A Wellness Tent(Adults)
🗺️ A comprehensive Visual Guide to help visitors know what to expect before they arrive.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦These simple but meaningful accommodations don't just benefit autistic individuals and their families, they also support people with sensory sensitivities, hidden disabilities, anxiety, dementia, older adults, young children, and anyone who may need a quieter space or a little extra support throughout the day.

👩‍🏫There is still time to become an Autism Friendly Champion before next year's show. We are offering FREE Autism Friendly Champion Training available by request online.
Our training is practical, easy to complete and full of simple ideas that can make a real difference to visitors' experience.
