New Champion - Robyn’s Creations Facepainting

🎨We are absolutely delighted to welcome Robyn’s Creations Facepainting to our growing community of Autism Friendly Champions.

💜Robyn is no stranger to us! She has worked at many of our Autism Support Dungarvan events over the years, and we are delighted that she will be joining us again at our upcoming summer event next month.

💜We have seen first hand just how amazing Robyn is with children. She is patient, kind, understanding and has a wonderful ability to meet each child exactly where they are & she always thinks outside the box. We have watched her adapt, problem solve and find another way countless times at our events.

💜Face painting doesn't have to mean having your face painted! If a child isn't comfortable with someone touching their face, Robyn is more than happy to paint a hand, arm or leg instead. There is never any pressure, she adapts the experience to the child.

As part of becoming fully accredited, Robyn has:

👩‍🏫 Completed our Autism Friendly Champion Training
📖 Created a fantastic, detailed Visual Guide/Social Story, showing exactly what to expect
🗣️ Created a comprehensive Communication Board, allowing children to communicate
🎧 Provides fidget/sensory supports if needed.
🐾 Service dogs are warmly welcomed.

💜We especially love the message running throughout Robyn's resources:

And that really sums Robyn up.
